Yesterday was filled with so many calls, messages, and texts from all over the world. I so appreciate you taking the time to send me love and I am working my way through replying to each of you personally. I will get there. I promise.
It was a simple but fabulous day. I awoke to the most gorgeous card from my daughter that I read over and over while I sobbed. I cry a lot when I am happy. The words on it make me feel like the richest woman alive so thank you Jady Lady. I feel honored to be your mom.
She also knows that I cannot work any of the audio systems in my home or car and I hate the ads on the radio. So she took the time to make me a chill playlist with 200 of my favorite songs, spanning the 60’s till the present. I know it took her hours, because she picked so carefully and thoughtfully. Best gift EVER.
Saul bought me amazing tulips and wrote me a wonderful card, and then he left mid-morning on a business trip. I took a yoga class and spent the entire day reading all your messages. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to make my birthday so special. I had a smile on my face all day from the 100’s of cards and wishes.
I picked Jade up from school and treated both of us to a Thai massage. Looking all disheveled we headed to our favorite Brazilian take out and picked up some steak and veggies. And then we jumped into bed to watch Game of Thrones. We were both asleep before 7pm. But it was hands down the best birthday.
I have learned that the things that make me wealthy beyond measure are the people in my life. And that means you. You made my day. You make every day better. I don’t know what I would do without you.
Heading into shabbos I want to take this opportunity to wish you a lifetime of good health, mazel, simchas and joy. May your candles burn bright. I am so looking forward to a Saturday night pizza party. What will be the first thing you eat when Pesach is over? xxx MM
