I love simple drinks. Straight up vodka or tequila or a nice big, bold glass of red wine.
So my go-to cocktails is usually a vodka martini with some olives.
But as a chef, I love color and texture so I decided to add some red pomegranate seeds to give me something to crunch on without having to fish out the olive stick.
I also added a lemon twist for no other reason than the yellow and red are so pretty together.
Now, this is my idea of a cocktail. L’chaim… to life
