I know most of us covet it, cause we want to look good in a swimsuit on the beach. And I am certainly not going to ignore the vanity element of 6 pack.
But the health benefits of a strong set of abs cannot be downplayed. Our core is most important part of overall spine health. And our spine affects everything as we age.
Our movement, balance centers, overall joint mobility and flexibility. Did you realize with all the sitting we do today, we are actually compromising our organs’ overall functioning.
Our liver, colon, kidneys and intestines are all bunched up. This makes it hard for them to work optimally. Twisting, strengthening and ringing out our belly can improve overall digestion. Core work fires up the metabolism.
And then there is the benefit of an upright posture. Did you ever notice how we shrink when we age? Just standing up tall can make you look 5-10 lbs lighter and reverse some of the effects of gravity.
The good news is that I (MM) am working on a new plan, I hope to have ready by the end of February. And I am going to be sharing my secrets with you.
