Blessed are the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken… Albert Camus
Flexibility is more than a literal term that means we can touch our toes. Sure, it is important to keep our bodies limber as we age. But it is as important, to allow our soul to bend with change and adversity.
If you watch trees in a storm, they don’t stand up straight and tall. They allow themselves to bend and be blown by the wind. They understand the power of letting go. They allow the Creator to do His thing.
It is hard when faced with obstacles or heartbreak to trust that things are unfolding exactly as they should be. It’s hard to “LET GO, AND LET G-D”. But just as He causes the rivers to flow and the sun to rise, so too, is He directing this little play called OUR LIFE.
The struggles, delays, falls, defeats, and uphill battles are as much a part of our story as the victories, celebrations, triumphs, wins, and easy downhill rides.
Everything arrives right on time. And each line in our story has some lesson to teach us.
So try to meet life’s challenges with a flexible spirit. Allow your heart and mind to bend with the changing tides. And you will soon find yourself sailing calmly upstream again.
Love, light, and blessings on your journey you brave, amazing, incredible, and marvelous warrior.
