I am not really a juicer. I would much rather eat my food and really enjoy the whole chewing process.
While I don’t make a habit of drinking my food, I do enjoy the occasional smoothie when I want to give my body a boost with some extra fruits and veggies.
Drinking one of your meals can give your digestive system a much needed break if you are feeling sluggish. Below is the recipe for my KALE BERRY RECOVERY SMOOTHIE.
- 2 cups kale
- 1/2 – 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 1 tsp loose green tea leaves – optional
- 8 -10 cubes ice
- 1 cup water
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till well combined.
