Purim’s mircale was hidden. The Book of Esther is all about the mystery of G-d being hidden – disguised – revealed – recognized. And it’s not lost on me that today, on Purim, I begin writing a book about miracles and the power of G-d.

I am in awe of the blind faith that our hero, Queen Esther had. She was asked to take on a secret mission that would have her living a lie for 9 years just to save her community.⁣ She did not question this request.
⁣
At no time was this task from Hashem too big or onerous for her. She saw it as an opportunity to help others. And so she put on her mask and kept her real self-hidden for years and years for the sake of her people. And she did indeed save them.⁣

Her efforts were not invain. Her sacrafice helped save a nation. What a true inspiration. One person had the power to bring about a miracle and affect positive change.

And I find myself a little braver and more courageous in my life. She sacrifices herself to help others.

I hope she will inspire you to realize that one person has the power to effect change and triumph over evil.⁣
