I am always looking for a quick protein snack to eat on the go. And I have tried many different combos over the years.
But this past weekend I knocked it out of the park. My family voted these the best batch of protein balls I have ever made. They are soooooooo yummy I really had to share.
They are loaded with superfoods, good fats, and protein and they satisfy your chocolate cravings too. Give them a try. Let me know what you think and don’t forget to tag me.

Salted Cocao Coconut Balls
Ingredients
- ½ cup dark unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup maca powder
- ½ cup protein powder
- ¾ cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 cup of unsweetened coconut (flakes or shredded)
- ½ cup of oat bran
- 2 TBS date or maple syrup
- 1 tspn salt
- 1/3 cup of coconut oil
- 2 TBS vanilla
- 3 TBS of water (may need more if the mixture is too dry)
- Additional dark unsweetened cocao powder for dusting
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together with your hands to combine. Roll the mixture into 1-1 ½ inch / 2 ½ – 3 cm balls. Use a small sieve to dust with cocoa powder. Freeze in a ziplock bag and enjoy
