People have this deathly fear of eating and enjoying their food, and it’s ridiculous.

This is an important conversation we need to have because wherever I go, I see this terrible trend sweeping the world today.

#2: Eat Well, Be Stronger, Live Longer

People have this deathly fear of eating and enjoying their food, and it’s ridiculous. In this episode, I’ll share tools to help you fall in love with yourself, and your body, and stop being afraid of what you put inside it. Here’s to cooking, eating, living, loving, and loving the Italian way.

In my teens and 20s, I was ruled by the number on a scale. I read package labels seeking out low-fat or fat-free foods. I weighed myself multiple times a day and let the number on the scale define my self-worth.

But once I began cooking with whole fresh fruits and vegetables, and ingredients from mother nature, the weight I’d been holding onto just fell without any crazy diets or formulas.

I live in Los Angeles, so I’m no stranger to the world of cleansing. Paleo intermittent fasting hypoglycemia, low fat, low carb diets with people subsist on nothing but air. But I spend half the year at my beautiful home in Lucca, Italy. I watch Italians sit down at a table with friends and family. They are eating for enjoyment. Eating is not some sort of punishment to them.

That’s why I believe diets don’t work.

The only non-diet diet is a lifestyle.

They are too restrictive and leave no room for joy. You’re either on a program or off a program. But the best way to take care of your body is to cook for yourself and to nourish your mind, body, and soul.

A few months ago, I led a 28-day reset challenge for a few hundred people. The only thing they weren’t allowed was soda and artificial sweeteners. They also had to throw out their scale. And the results were astounding. People lost between 7 to 20lbs. They had more energy, they slept better and their skin glowed.

They learned how to create a weeks’ worth of meals in a couple of hours from one shop. And they dived deep into the dark places inside. The goal was to rewire their mindset. The thoughts we speak and the words we use have a powerful impact on our overall health.

In this episode, I’ll share tools to help you fall in love with yourself, and your body, and stop being afraid of what you put inside it.

I hope to inspire you to get back in your kitchen and start sorting chopping steaming and creating yummy, delicious nourishing meals that you and your family will love.

Once you control the ingredients, and what you put in your food, the results, magically happen. Here’s to cooking, eating, living, loving, and loving the Italian way. Here’s to creating a healthy, beautiful, and delicious life xxxx MM
