I am not a big juicer, but sometimes I feel like my body needs more vitamins or I am in a rush and there isn’t time to sit down and eat breakfast.
I created this smoothie recipe using my favorite protein powder (Natures Plus Spirutein – Tropical Fruit) but you can use whatever you have around.
I also add some loose green tea to give me an energy boost and it’s loaded with antioxidants. You can leave this out if you don’t want a caffeine buzz.
It has a lot more kale than you’d expect, so it’s more of a green smoothie, but the frozen berries add just the right amount of sweetness. And I use water and ice so it’s totally dairy free.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I’ll drink to your continued health.
